Kathleen Guinan
Chief Executive Officer

A pioneer for social justice, Montessori education, and community organizing, Kathleen Guinan, CEO of Montessori Living, co-founded Zaccheaus Kitchen and Rachel’s Women’s Center. Kathleen helped to establish Montessori Living in 1990, as an entrepreneurial nonprofit organization working to empower families and strengthen the community. The organization has grown to integrate Montessori philosophy into a school for infants to school-aged children, an intergenerational learning center, organic gardens, and an apartment community. Kathleen’s stewardship of the Family Leadership Academy pioneered a two-generational approach to education.
